- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure effective execution of quality assurance activities and achievement of departmental goals.
- Establish key quality metrics, performance indicators, and quality objectives to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service, to identify quality issues, root causes, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and regulatory inspections to assess compliance with quality standards, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders to stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices.
- Lead risk management activities, including risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk communication, to minimize quality risks and ensure the safety and efficacy of products and services.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve quality issues, address customer complaints, and implement effective solutions to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and materials to educate employees and stakeholders on quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, complaints, and product returns to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address customer concerns.
- Manage the documentation and record-keeping process for quality assurance activities, including quality records, test results, audit reports, and corrective action plans, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
